Abstract

Intracavity correction methods have been considered, which shows that the proposed gradient method enables one to find the flexible-mirror profile with allowance for diffraction effects. The method is a convenient means of simulating real intracavity correction systems working by aperture probing [8–10], in which the mirror-control signals are proportional to the gradients in a certain functional.
