Abstract

As we kick off 2022, most likely in a virtual or hybrid live/virtual new normal way, I had the pleasure of a conversation with our incoming IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) president, Rashaunda Henderson ( <xref ref-type="fig" rid="fig1" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Figure 1</xref> ). Before we begin, let me share that when I met Rashaunda more than 10 years ago ( <xref ref-type="fig" rid="fig2" xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Figure 2</xref> ), what I recall the most is that her smile and inclusive personality stood out long before we even said hello. So, let’s dive right in and see how we can bring Rashaunda’s energy and mindset to the pages of this article and into the minds of you, our readers.
