Abstract
Nina Power is a philosopher, writer, and cultural commentator. She is the author of One-Dimensional Woman (Zero Books, 2009), and the translator and editor (with Alberto Toscano) of Alain Badiou’s On Beckett. Her new book Masculinity and Its Discontents is published by Penguin (2022). As part of an exploration of online subcultures and popular discourses on feminism and masculinity, Aleks Wansbrough interviewed her for the Inhuman Screens Conference, to gain a philosophical perspective on underlying issues concerning online culture wars and popualr conceptions of masculinity.[Nina Power holds up a copy of MacIntyre’s Dependent Rational Animals.]
