Abstract
In this issue of HeartRhythm, Remo et al1 describe patients with ventricular tachycardia (VT) storm in whom renal denervation may have assisted in suppressing VT or at least facilitated the response to interventional or pharmacologic treatment of VT. In 3 centers, 4 patients who initially presented with VT storm had dramatic reductions of shocks from their implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) as well as recurrences of VT on device interrogation at 10, 9, 11, and 14 months after renal denervation, respectively.
