Abstract

AbstractSummary:Chitosan hollow fiber formation with a variable internal diameter was performed from a new wet‐spinning method in interrupted coagulation conditions by means of water washings. The main objective of the present study is to provide a better understanding of the physicochemical events involved during the chitosan fiber formation by this new wet‐spinning method.
