Abstract

Conformai mapping is used to investigate conducted immunity tests performed on power supply lines, taking into account the characteristics of the coupling/decoupling networks (CDN) specified by EMC standards. Both test reproducibility and repeatability issues due to their impedance constraints at the equipment under test (EUT) terminals are discussed. Some simulation results are illustrated to show how the constraint of the CDN common mode input impedance can improve test reproducibility; test repeatability depends on the EUT power input impedance defined by EUT design constraints.
