Abstract

Interphase tension at the boundary between mutually saturated melts of the stable diagonal of lithium fluoride-cesium halide reciprocal systems was measured by the meniscus weight method. The roles played by the temperature and halide anion size in the behavior of the interphase layer are discussed. The criticality type of liquid-liquid phase transitions in ionic melts was established.
