Abstract
Interpersonal skills play a critical role in the development of trust and positive feelings when facilitating interpersonal and group conflict resolution. The next few papers will identify what are the building blocks for successful interpersonal conflict resolution. Also it will provide a rationale for each building block as to how it contributes to a more collaborative process when mediating in a culturally diverse setting.
