Abstract
Casts can be mounted and verified on a semi-adjustable or fully adjustable articulator using this record system. The success of the indirect technique of diagnosis and treatment is dependent upon accurately mounted casts. It is the duplication of the centric jaw relation position, not the articulator type, that determines whether or not the patient's occlusal contact relations have been simulated. Eccentric articulator adjustments are important but their significance is dependent upon mounting the casts accurately.
