Abstract

The International Scientific Conference "Innovative engineering technologies, equipment and materials - 2015" took place at the exhibition center "Kazan Fair" within the framework of the 15th international specialized exhibition "Mechanical engineering & Metalworking” and the 10th specialized exhibition "TechnoWelding" on the 2-3 December, 2015.The conference program included 5 sections:Section 1 - "Innovative technologies in the design and manufacture of engineering products. Practice and prospects of creation and application"Section 2 - "Innovative development of mechanical engineering and economics"Section 3 - "Mathematical and physical modeling of information, technical, technological and managerial systems and processes"Section 4 - "Innovative development of small and medium-sized enterprises"Section 5 - "Innovative welding technology in the industry"Participants and guests of the conference discussed the scientific and technical achievements in the field of development, design and manufacture of engineering products.The main results of studies of the country's leading universities in the field of robotics, new materials (including the production of waste), mechanical engineering, energy and economy were presented.The Presidium included Director of the Institute of Engineering Prof. Nail F. Kashapov, Director of Innovation of "KNIAT" Peter P. Baskevich, Director of educational activities of Engineering Institute, Idar I. Hafizov and Director of the Integrated Learning Center for Energy Efficiency, Iskander R. Gilmanshin.Research and innovation at the Kazan Federal University was presented by the staff of the Engineering Institute, Naberezhnye Chelny Institute, Chemistry Institute (named after Butlerov) and the Institute of Management, Economics & Finance.Speakers provided practical ways to improve performance for the sixth technological order by Boris M. Morozov (PJSC "KAMAZ"); on the example of JSC "90 pilot plant", R.T. Sirazetdinov (KNRTU KAI / 90 pilot plant) examined the problem of sustainable development of engineering enterprises, E.Y. Kurchatov presented a new type of energy-efficient flywheel energy storage, and Y. I. Azimov and I. R, Gilmanshin presented a resource-recycling technology for tire production.For postgraduate students the experience of live communication with scientists, practitioners, representatives of the real economy will allow future experts to determine its scientific direction for a successful solution of important problems of import substitution and enhancing the competitiveness of the engineering industry of our country.
