Abstract
The article analyzes the general principles of interaction between the state bodies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus as members of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Eurasian Economic Union in the sphere of information exchange on currency control issues. It also examines the peculiarities of such interaction that have arisen due to the imposition of sanctions by unfriendly states against the Russian Federation. The relevance of the topic is expressed by the fact that, in light of the intensification of sanctions pressure through the adoption of the 14th package of sanctions, information exchange within the Union States can have a critical impact on countering Western sanctions. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that, due to the regular expansion of sanctions, this topic is not sufficiently developed in legal literature because the subject of research is constantly changing.
