Abstract
PrefaceI warmly welcome you to The Second International Conference on Technology and Vocational Teachers (ICTVT), Yogyakarta, 15 November 2018. It’s a great pleasure on behalf of ICTVT commitee to have you today to participate and to share your studies, ideas, knowledge and experience in this conference. Through ICTVT 2018, we would like to engage with all of you in an open and constructive dialogue about Innovation and Development of Technology for Vocational Education.The recent trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies, or Industry 4.0, assists companies to identify and implement Industry 4.0 scenarios, such as Interoperability, Information Transparency, Technical Assistance, and Decentralized Decisions.This new industry era needs some development and innovation for several related fields. Innovation and development of industry 4.0 stimulate and demand the development of education, especially vocational education. Therefore, this conference aims to explore the role and potential of technology for vocational education as the backbone of the industry era 4.0.
