Abstract

11-14 December 2018 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Conference Website: https://www.isegt.orgThe International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Green Technology 2018 (SEGT 2018) was on 11-14 December 2018 at Hotel DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. SEGT 2018 aims to promote research in the field of sustainable energy, green technology, environment and climate change, and facilitate the exchange of new ideas in these fields among academicians, engineers, scientists and practitioners. It includes plenary, keynote & invited speeches, oral presentations & poster sessions on different topics. It was co-organized by 10 universities across the Asian region (University of Malaya, University Tunku Abdul Rahman, National I-Lan University, National Cheng Kung University, Beijing Institute of Technology, QinZhou University, National Taipei University of Technology, National Dong Hwa University, University of Hong Kong and City University of Hong Kong). Besides, there are local research centers (Centre for Energy Science & Solar Energy Research Institute) and association (The IET Malaysia Chapter and ASHRAE Malaysia Chapter) that became the supporting institutions for the SEGT 2018 Conference. The conference has received more than 370 participants from 20 countries over the world such as Thailand, Canada, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Hong Kong, China, India, Iran, Nigeria, Vietnam, Japan, Pakistan, UK, Bangladesh, Australia, Netherlands, Turkey, etc. There were 1 Plenary Speaker (Prof. Ibrahim Dincer), 3 Keynote Speakers (Prof. Chen Wei-Hsin, Prof. Dennis Y.C. Leung & Prof. Michael KH Leung) and 4 Invited Speakers (Ir. Chen Thiam Leong from ASHRAE Malaysia, Dr. Alex Lee from Tian Building Engineering, Prof. Jin Liwen from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Prof. Hans Weemaes from Neapoli) attended the conference.
