On behalf of the Organizing Committee of ICAEE2017, and with great pleasure, we would like to welcome all delegates to Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Being held from 7th to 8th August 2017 at Hilton Hotel, Kuching, the event is organized by the Centre for Electronic Engineering Studies, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. The conference creates a forum for engineers, scientists and practitioners of varied disciplines and their associated applications. Throughout this event we hope to create an opportunity for researchers, academics and students to get together and, more importantly, to welcome new peers in diverse areas of expertise. On behalf of the organizing committee we would like to take the opportunity to express our gratitude to all reviewers who have been working hard to review the papers on time and share their expertise. Special mention goes to the distinguished Keynote Speakers for their willingness to spend their time and share their valuable knowledge. My deepest gratitude goes to the Organizing Committee who have been working hard behind the scenes for the success of this event. To all participants, we would like to encourage you to fully utilize this platform for knowledge sharing and networking while enjoying your stay in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
