Abstract
PrefaceThe 21st International Conference ICBMPT 2018 – International Conference on Building Materials, Products and Technologies organized by the Research Institute for Building Materials was held in Češkovice, Czech Republic, on 29—31 May 2018. The main topics of ICBMPT 2018 were: Inorganic Binders, Secondary raw materials, Composite materials and Technology and test methods. The aim of the conference was to bring researchers from universities and industrial enterprises together to share their experience and to create an international forum for the exchange of both scientific and practical knowledge in the field of building materials.41 papers were accepted after strict peer-reviewing by expert referees, we would like to thank all the participants for their valuable contribution to the conference and these proceedings. We would like to express our gratitude to the reviewers for their time, valuable recommendations and constructive evaluation, in order to guarantee high quality. The organizing committee is very proud that more than 90 participants from several European countries were attracted. Due to this fact, the spectrum of the contributions reflected many aspects of the state of the art in this fast-developing field of applications. We hope that the conference made a significant contribution to the knowledge in this scientific field.
