Abstract

This research probes into the status and challenges of teaching international business in Latin America. Data was obtained from a representative sample of business schools. The perceived adequacy of preparation for international business among their students and the importance of academic preparation on this topic are discussed. The shortage of faculty to teach international business courses was found to be the most important obstacle to the further internationalization of their curriculum.
