Abstract
A number of solid organic compounds, mostly aromatic hydrocarbons, have been investigated for use as internal standards in quantitative GC. Retention times at various temperatures on five commonly used columns have been determined. The data obtained have proven useful for choosing an internal standard when needed for the determination of a new drug by GC.
