Abstract

Realizing the integrated development of urban and rural areas in the Yangtze River Delta is the inherent requirement of Chinese modernization and the inevitable result of the high development of productive forces. Developing digital economy has become an important means to promote the orderly and free flow of urban and rural elements and rationally allocate resources. In order to explore the influence of digital economy on urban-rural integration in the Yangtze River Delta region, this paper analyzes the direct role of digital economy on urban-rural integration and the intermediary role of factor flow on urban-rural integration in the Yangtze River Delta region by using the intermediary effect model. The research results show that the integration development level of digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta region has obviously improved, and the result effect is remarkable after the robustness test of the model. Digital economy is conducive to promoting the integration of urban and rural development; Digital economy promotes the integration of urban and rural development through the flow of rural labor force. Based on this, it is proposed to improve the sustainable mechanism of urban-rural integration development in the Yangtze River Delta region and promote the basic construction of digital economic facilities.
