Abstract

The internal friction in mixed magnetoelectric composites xMn0.4Zn0.6Fe2O4–(1‒x) PbZr0.53Ti0.47O3 (x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.4) prepared by the ceramic technology has been studied near the ferroelectric phase transition temperature at a frequency of 30 Hz. The contributions to the internal friction due to the kinetics of the phase transition and due to the interaction between the domain walls and point defects have been separated.
