Abstract
This paper introduces methods to characterize receiver properties of cellular IoT modules. By accessing the antenna port and using bit error rate (BER) measurements, nonlinearity properties and filter characteristics of the receiver are extracted. The method provides the versatility to examine any RF module without knowledge of components and design. The information can be accessed without destruction.
