Abstract
The article deals with the relationship of twin cities and their role in the integration processes of the Eurasian space. First of all, it concerns the socio-cultural aspect of cooperation between twin cities. The existing developments of international practices of twinning movement have been studied and the most suitable ones for enhancing the ties of twin cities in the Eurasian space were suggested. The factors that slow down the interaction of Russian cities with their twin cities are highlighted. The author points out the lack of information support for twinning and proves the involvement of young people in this process within the framework of Eurasian integration.
