Abstract

The kinetic theory of surface waves with electrons reflected from the boundary in solid state plasmas is developed. A new mechanism of the damping of surface plasmons is predicted. An oscillation increment is found when an external monoenergetic electron flow was reflected from the vacuum-medium boundary.
