Abstract
The editors of<i>Intensive Family Therapy</i>are to be congratulated on bringing together an outstanding group of intervestigators in this new and challenging area. The book offers the reader an overview of the field of family therapy. It provides guidelines for the bewildered beginner who is struggling with his "first case" as well as presenting many valuable suggestions for the experienced family therapist.
