Abstract

Artificial Intelligence plays a fundamental role in performing tasks that were previously only possible to be executed by the human mind. This includes decision-making, user interaction, image interpretation, and various other activities. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze how this technology is being used and how it can assist in the speed and accuracy of legal practice in public law firms, contributing to the increase in free access to justice. Additionally, the research also aims to identify the challenges associated with the use of Artificial Intelligence in the context of public and free access to justice. The methodology used for the study approach was qualitative research. Bibliographic and documentary research methods were employed for data collection. In short, it is clear that the use of artificial intelligence in legal practice, despite being recent and limited, is crucial for the advancement of public law and its accessibility. This is due to the fact that, through this technology, costs can be reduced and productivity increased.
