The International Journal of Integrated Care (IJIC) is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles in the field of integrated care on a continuous basis.IJIC has an Impact Factor of 5.120 (2020 JCR, received in June 2021)The IJIC 20th Anniversary Issue was published in 2021.

Introduction

Integrating health and education: challenges and successes with Victoria’s School-Based Health Service program Background: International interest is growing in the potential of educational settings to improve young people’s health and wellbeing. In this workshop we will explore the health-education nexus, drawing on the Victorian government’s Doctors in Secondary Schools Program (DiSS) which delivers primary care services in 100 disadvantaged secondary schools.
