BIPV applications answer a primary goal of sustainability by reducing pollution and improving the quality of our lives through on-site energy generation. Many groups, both public and private, are pushing energy efficiency for new construction. This action directly benefits the photovoltaic industry since the inclusion of BIPV is a next logical step for energy-conscious consumers. Jesse Henson, Kyocera Solar Inc., reports.
