Abstract

The method of integrated measurements of each of the short-lived 222Rn progeny under environmental concentrations employs an uniformly rotating filter and detection of α-particles by solid-state nuclear track detectors (SSNTD) which are placed above the filter. The algorithm for data processing of these measurements is developed in this article. It could be applied with any kind of SSNTD provided that the efficiencies for registration of α-particles of 218Po (6.0 MeV) and 214Po (7.69 MeV) are known.
