Abstract

The firing precision is one of the important indexes to measure the tactical and technical performance of multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). Reducing the ammunition amount used in precision test of the MLRS is a major problem to be solved urgently at home and abroad, which has attracted extensive attention. A nonlinear dynamics model of the MLRS including wheels, vehicle body, releveling body and pitching body is established by using Riccati transfer matrix method for multibody system (RMSTMM). With the above dynamics model, the MLRS firing precision dynamics simulation system is constructed and then the credibility comprehensive evaluation method is given. Finally, a test scheme design method of firing precision for the MLRS based Bayesian method is proposed, which provides a theoretical basis and effective technical means for reducing the ammunition amount used in test and improving the test evaluation level.
