Abstract

The problem of finding rational structural schemes of traction drives of freight and passenger locomotives with asynchronous traction electric motors is considered. It has been established that existing trends in the development of traction drives lead to the use of an integrated circuit that can improve reliability and durability due to a significant decrease in the manufacturability of production and repair. An aggregate layout scheme of the traction drive, which is easier to manufacture than the known analogues of the integrated type is proposed, as well as solutions to improve the manufacturability of integrated drives. The proposed designs are patented.
