Abstract

The rapid development of transportation facilities construction has rapidly increased the demand for transportation infrastructure capacity. The jacking technology can improve the design elevation of the bridge without demolishing the original structure, which is a very reliable and economical method and is widely used in engineering. This research comprehensively examined bridge jacking technology in light of the Chemical Road Bridge's jacking reconstruction project and the project's implementation background. First, the jacking height, jacking form, slope adjustment method, and weight were analyzed, and the bridge synchronous jacking form was designed. Second, the general process of jacking construction and the control points of each construction step was proposed. Finally, the beam displacement, beam stress, and steel tube support stress were monitored, and the bridge beam's geometric posture and stress distribution characteristics during jacking was analyzed. The results showed that the key technology of bridge jacking was feasible in the project, and the construction method adopted was safe.
