Abstract

Terrorist attacks and accidental explosions pose significant challenges to the security of public buildings. This study combines detailed test data from three different curved shells to simulate different blast scenarios, effectively validating the simulation of blast loads and blast waves. Based on dynamic time warping and blast damage criteria, a similarity algorithm for blast loads based on overpressure histories of multi-gauge is proposed, and the similarity of blast loads on curved shells under four different scenarios is systematically evaluated. The spatiotemporal distribution of blast pressure around curved shells is analyzed based on simulation results. This paper provides a convenient tool for predicting blast loads on complex building shapes and optimizing blast-resistant designs.
