Background and Aims: Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) is an important link in the regulation of structural and functional changes in the vascular bed. We aimed to study the relationship between blood levels of IGF-1 and indicators of carotid artery remodeling in hypertensive patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
