Abstract

The current study intends to analyze two dimensions considered crucial for students' academic success, namely institutional attachment, understood as a sense of belonging and an awareness of being part of a community, and academic performance, as a sustained effort, directed and materialized in achieving high academic results. The sample we propose consists of 296 first- and third-year students. The research instrument used is the Student Adaptation to College Questionnaire (SACQ). The premise that underpins our approach is that there is a strong and sustained relationship between institutional attachment and academic performance. The results are statistically processed and are explained in tables and graphs.
