Abstract

Parenting involves a multitude of responsibilities, one of the most critical being the education of children. A holistic approach to child education encompasses home-based learning, experiential learning, digital resources, the transmission of values and beliefs, and formal education. All these sources can facilitate collaboration between educators and parents in delivering sustainable education for their children. This article aims to investigate the use of alternative or traditional educational methods, using rewards and punishments or no consequences, by a sample of toddlers’ parents. Their main sources of information for children's education were investigated also. The sample study included 40 preschoolers’ parents, aged 24 - 39 years.
