Abstract
The present article starts from the hypothesis that the coordinator handling of an workshop in Social Psychology Attention Center (CAPS) is distinguished from the coordination of a workshop at the Center for Shared and Cooperated Living (CECCO), over all as for the Freudian conception of phenomenon of mass, presented by Freud in 1920, in Group psychology and analysis of the ego. Adopting the context of the Brazilian Psychiatric Reform, the author describes the characteristics of two institutions, and analyzes the institutional demand that falls again on the groups and, thus, designates some differences in relation to group functioning and coordination style in view of the respective intersections in Mental Health field.
