Abstract

Two-dimensional nanocomposites are synthesized by firmly anchoring Fe3O4 quantum dots (with an average size of 3.8 nm) on hybrid carbon nanosheets. They exhibit an exceptional long lifetime over 1000 cycles with high capacities and excellent high-rate capabilities when used as a versatile anode material for Li and Na storage.
