Abstract
Preparation of two-dimensional nanosheets with suitable band gap has been a challenge for their photodynamic applications. In their Research Article (DOI: 10.1002/anie.202215795), Min Ge, Jianlin Shi et al. report a cutting-edge regulatory approach to create H-terminated germanene with a bio-medically favorable direct band gap by a simple surface chemical modulation for bio-application in cancer photodynamic therapy.
