Abstract
Abstract A number of crops of wheat, barley, and oats located in the Rangitikei, Manawatu, Southern Hawke's Bay, and Wairarapa districts were periodically sampled by sweep-netting. The insect species taken have been identified, as far as is at present possible, and their monthly occurrences indicated. Some 138 species are involved, but the majority occurred in relatively small numbers.
