Abstract

Image inpainting is a kind of method to restore and correct the missing information or remove the redundant interference information from the image. This method is of great significance in the research of the image restoration. And dealing with art pictures, computer graphics and image technology can be used to show the original style and appearance of the damaged pictures. This paper first summarizes the process which common algorithm is used to restore image information, then analyzes the shortcomings of these algorithms in the judgment of image texture and edge part and puts forward by the Criminisi algorithm which adding differential factors in the original algorithm and optimizes the priority model based on image texture and edge features. The proposed algorithm has obvious advantages in identification ability, and it also upgrades the search matching as well as overcomes the drawbacks of the original algorithm. Finally, the improved algorithm is tested, and the experimental results show that the algorithm successfully overcome the drawbacks of the classical algorithm, and better restore the picture.
