Abstract

Abstract The research proposes an innovative strategy that intends to discuss the difficulties in oil and gas operations in the sea. However, this paper offers a new idea as a creative idea for those difficulties. Operating in the sea is significantly more complex and challenging because the environment there is known to be unstable and inappropriate. It is far more stable to have the ability to explore, drill, and produce underground resources from below. Thus, equipping a submarine with all the drilling equipment could be helpful. The proposed solution suggests equipping a submarine with all the necessary drilling equipment to conduct oil and gas operations below the sea surface. Technology has successfully influenced our industry in the past. Success comes in those three areas: production, HSE, and cost optimization. Every engineer wants to create successfully under risk-free, cost-optimized conditions as submarines descend and can get closer to the sea bed. This facilitates easy access to any of the processes. Through exploration, the submarine could get a better eyeshot for the seismic surveys as it could provide a more comprehensive scan. This makes it possible for any process to be performed quickly. Through exploration, the submersible might provide a more extensive scan and acquire a better sight for seismic surveys. Using a submarine for offshore oil and gas operations offers several advantages. Firstly, a submarine can operate in deep-sea or remote areas that are not accessible by traditional platforms, providing access to untapped reserves. Secondly, the stability of the underwater environment minimizes the risks associated with extreme weather conditions, reducing downtime and safety hazards. Thirdly, a submarine can be easily relocated to different locations, providing flexibility and adaptability to changing operational requirements. The research proposes an innovative strategy that utilizes submarines to overcome offshore oil and gas operations difficulties. By leveraging the stability and safety of the underwater environment, equipping a submarine with drilling equipment could provide a creative solution for exploring, drilling, and producing oil and gas resources more efficiently and environmentally responsibly. Further research, development, and collaboration among stakeholders, including governments, oil and gas companies, and environmental organizations, would be necessary to realize the full potential of this innovative approach in offshore energy operations.
