Abstract

With the rise and development of big data (BD) technology, in the e-commerce environment, a variety of new business models have emerged. Only when companies have a clear business model can they effectively formulate development strategies. At the same time, business model innovation has also become a research hotspot in theory and practice in the era of network economy. The purpose of this article is to study the innovation of e-commerce business (EB) models based on BD. This paper verifies the feasibility of realizing business model innovation based on data analysis. This article selects the cross-border e-commerce in the e-commerce industry for in-depth research, analyzes the components of the cross-border EB model based on BD technology, and then further analyzes the driving force that drives the continuous innovation of the business model. With the rapid changes in the external environment of enterprises, customer orientation to meet individual needs and customized services has become the core business focus of the enterprise. Based on predecessors’ thoughts and theories on BD and enterprise business model innovation, and based on these thoughts and theories, conduct a systematic discussion on the driving force of business model innovation. Finally, a new path of business model innovation is proposed. The experimental research results show that user experience is the biggest consumer demand, which accounts for 0.93, followed by affordable price, which accounts for 0.88. In short, business model innovation still needs to cater to consumer needs to improve, so as to realize the business model.
