Abstract
A covalent organic framework (COF) anode with acid–alkaline co-tolerance, long cycle life, and high rate performance was developed for aqueous batteries. In their Research Article (e202218745), Haiyan Zhang, Chunyi Zhi, Haiming Lv et al. designed the robust covalent linkage (-NH-) and the hydrogen bond network between -NH- and H2O, which collectively improve the chemical stability and promote the rapid conduction of H+/OH− by the Grotthuss mechanism. Thus the COF displays superior stability and rate performance.
