Abstract
Using the generating functional method, the $\ensuremath{\sigma}$ and $\ensuremath{\omega}$ meson propagators in nuclear matter have been determined in relativistic nonlinear models. The scalar and vector collective modes as well as the density dependence of the $\ensuremath{\omega}$ meson mass have been considered.
