Abstract

We have determined the equation of state for symmetric nuclear matter in relativistic nonlinear models. In the high density region, the isotherms are found strongly model dependent according as the dominant contribution arises from mesons or from baryons. We have also compared the thermodynamical properties given by the two more elaborate nonlinear models, G1 and G2.
