Abstract

The article provides examples of the leadership of representatives of civil society institutions, volunteers who proactively and participatoryly reconstruct buildings, help resettle internally displaced persons who suffered as a result of hostilities caused by Russian aggression. It has been proven that the reconstruction of existing buildings is an effective and quick way to provide internally displaced persons with housing. Examples of the implementation of projects of the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund (UFSI) are given. Donors of the project in different years were the governments of Germany (KfW), Japan (JSDF), Sweden (SIDA), Great Britain (DFID), the World Bank, the European Union, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Canadian International Development Agency, the International Renaissance Foundation , the UN Development Program for the reconstruction of existing residential and non-residential buildings with the aim of arranging housing for internally displaced persons, which creates conditions for fruitful cooperation with foreign donors, productive and transparent involvement of financial resources.
