Abstract

The polymerization of acrylic acid and sodium acrylate in aqueous solutions, initiated by the hydrogen peroxide-ascorbic acid redox system, has been investigated. The interactions of the components of the initiating system was studied. Some kinetic constants for this polymerization were determined from the thermokinetic data under adiabatic conditions.
