Abstract

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in developing optical fiber-based dosimetry systems for real-time verification during radiation therapy. Inorganic scintillation detectors (ISDs) show promise for in-vivo dosimetry, along with plastic scintillation detectors (PSDs), providing real-time radiation monitoring, electromagnetic field immunity, linear responses to doses and dose rate independency [1,2].
