Abstract

The weak field dielectric aging behaviours of lead magnesium niobate (Pb[Mg 1/3Nb 2/3]O 3) ceramics have been extensively investigated. In this paper, however, we focused on the dielectric aging of a Mg and Mn doped PMN ceramic under various alternating current (ac) fields. It is found that the strong ac fields generally suppress the aging rate, particularly at low measurement frequencies.
