Abstract
Imidazo[4,5-c]pyridine analogs with Akt (PKB) kinase antagonist activity are claimed. The compounds contain a 4-amino-1,2,5-oxadiazole substituent at the 2-position of the ring system with an alkyne substituent at the 4-position, and diverse functionality at the 6-position. The compounds are indicated to be useful in the treatment of cancer and arthritis.
