Abstract
The ratio of kinetic constants k 7 k 6 has been determined for the reaction of peroxy radicals with inhibitors of the 3-aniline-1,5-diphenylpyrazole series in the oxidation of cumene and ethylbenzene at 60 and 65°C. The chemiluminescence method and the solution calorimetry method yielded comparable results. The dependence of the k 7 k 6 ratio on the initial concentration of inhibitor is discussed.
